This form is for those who wish to hire the HUTT VALLEY IRISH SOCIETY premises.

Thank you for your interest in booking our central Lower Hutt Venue at 12 Raroa Road. Please complete the form below if you would like to request a booking. We will consider your request and confirm the booking via email.

Our venue has a capacity for 90 guests with table and chair seating, AV equipment including projector, WiFi, commercial grade kitchen, licensed bar and disabled access.

Please see below for some of our policies and rules for booking the club that must be agreed to by the Hirer.

Policies and Rules of the Club

All bookings are accepted on the basis of compliance with our policies and rules including:

  • 1. Liquor License – Hirer must comply with our liquor license (as displayed onsite) and includes only alcohol consumption that is purchased on premise. We refuse to serve intoxicated, minors, or rude guests.

  • 2. Bar staff - Bar staff are charged at $25 per hour and for most events we supply 2 people unless agreed otherwise.

  • 3. Peanut Free policy - no food containing peanuts are to be brought into club.

  • 4. Environmental policy – balloons are not permitted and use of the recycling bins must comply with the council rules including no food in recycling bins. Rubbish can be disposed of in our red bin outside.

  • 5. Kitchen Use - Hirers may use crockery and utensils in the kitchen but you need to supply everything else including any condiments, serviettes, paper plates, cling wrap, tin foil, tea and coffee.

  • 6. Deposit – the hiring fee and a 50% deposit on any bar tab must be paid before the event (Hutt Valley Irish Society 06-0529-0416815-000). A cancellation fee may be charged depending on the circumstances.

  • 7. All our rates are GST inclusive. Our GST number is 50-121-062.

  • 8. Damage – any damages incurred during the event/function will be charged to the Hirer.
