Celebrating 50 years in speeches
The weekend of 7-9 October, 2011, saw us gather together friends, members past and present, and well-wishers to acknowledge 50 years of activities, good times, and memorable members.
One of the higlights of Sunday was the opportunity to listen to various members reminisce about 'the old days', identities, and events from the Club's past, and what the Club means to them.
Hear for yourself:
Joe Coffey remembers how he used to wind up Tim Cahill
Mick McLoughlin recalls the role the Club play in his early days in New Zealand
Alice Paul remembers Mick, and how she sees the future of the Club
Ann O'Carroll remembers how she nearly got arrested for selling beer
Ashley Mackenzie-White explains why she thinks of the Club as her 'Irish marae'
